On April 18th Allegheny Wood Products Vice-President of Operations presented Mark Poling with the traditional Remington shotgun recognizing Mark’s twenty-five years of service with AWP.
Mark began his career with AWP at the Norton sawmill as a lumber inspector. Eight years into his time with AWP Mark took the role as 2nd shift mill foreman at Norton. After 11 years as mill foreman Mark was promoted to Chief Lumber Inspector. In his current role, Mark is responsible for training lumber inspectors at all AWP locations and being head of quality control.
“My time here with AWP has been great. I’ve always been treated well and been given the opportunity to grow and advance. I look at the twenty-five-year award as a significant milestone in my life, and I’ve got plenty more years with AWP in front of me” stated Mark.
