Employees at Allegheny Wood Products Petersburg Dry Kiln Facility gathered on April 18th to celebrate 2 years of operating with no lost time accidents. Employees were treated to a catered barbeque lunch and each employee who qualified received a $200 safety bonus and all employees received a t-shirt commemorating the accomplishment.
Plant manager Frank Weese commented “This is a great achievement not only for this facility but also for the 36 employees who were here for the 2 years. Our company has shown we are committed to providing a safe work environment and the crew here is proving we can all work safely. We live our safety slogan Safety: Believe it. Achieve it! “.
