Ginger Roby has run in two road races so far in 2022. On March 19 she ran the Luck of the Irish 5K in Moorefield, West Virginia and was the second female to finish. She set a personal record of 26 minutes 26 seconds for the 5K distance (3.1 Miles). On March 26 Ginger ran in the Marine Corps 17.5 K race in Woodbridge Virginia and completed the 17.5 kilometer course in 1hr 55 minutes and 16 seconds. This was an average pace of 10 minutes 57 seconds per mile of the 10.9-mile racecourse. Ginger’s next challenge is May 22 in Fredericksburg Virginia where she will be running in the Devil Dog Double. This race will be 18 miles long.
Ginger Roby joined AWP in February 2016 as an administrative assistant with the lumber sales team in the Petersburg Office. Ginger’s daily responsibilities include order entry, pricing, export documentation and various other administrative tasks. Ginger trains 5-6 days per week doing a variety of exercises.
