On August 26th Allegheny Wood Products hosted a dinner for employees to celebrate 1 year with no lost time accidents. Plant manager Tony Vanhoozer stated “this is a major safety marker that couldn’t have been achieved without everyone’s commitment to working safely. The crew’s hard work and dedication to safety is greatly appreciated and congratulations to the entire Cowen Crew.”
AWP Cowen is a hardwood sawmill with 70 employees producing approximately 24 million board feet of hardwood lumber annually.
