Congressman McKinley visits AWP Petersburg

Apr 25, 2022 | Company News

On Monday April 25th West Virginia Congressman David McKinley visited Allegheny Wood Product’s Petersburg Dry Kiln Facility and corporate office.  Congress man McKinley is running for re-election and was visiting Grant County and made the stop at AWP.  Employees at both the dry kiln facility and corporate office had opportunities to speak with the Congressman.  Throughout the trade war with China Congressman McKinley was a friend to the US Hardwood Industry in his efforts to have Chinese tariffs on US hardwoods reduced or eliminated as well as backing other industry concerns.  We were happy the Congressman took the time to visit.
